The abstract submission deadline for invited oral presentation and poster presentation is March 20, 2017.
The Organising Committee reserves the right to reject proposals that do not meet the instructions and scope of the symposium. No revisions or corrections will be made by the editorial team. A condition of submission is that, if accepted, the communication must be presented at event FFB Symposium 2017 by one of the authors.
The presenting author is expected to attend the Congress and present the poster or invited oral presentation.
Only abstracts of participants who have paid their registration fees will be included in the program.
For each invited oral presentation or for each poster you must submit an abstract as a PDF file format.
Abstracts should be written in English and conform to the available templates below :

- The abstracts of all accepted contributions will be published beforehand on the congress website.
Instructions for the preparation of invited oral presentation
The presentation time for an invited oral conference is 15 minutes
The presentation time for a keynote is 25 minutes
The presentation time for the presentation in session 1 "Industrial problematic and perspectives" is 20 minutes
If using PowerPoint (or any other presentation program), please note that you need to bring it on a USB memory stick and load it on the Congress computer upon arrival (in order to check the compatibility of your version) and until the beginning of your session.
If combining video films with PowerPoint, please make sure to check it on the computer of your session during a coffee or lunch break at least 30 minutes before the start of the session. Please note that the Congress computer will be running MS Windows and MS Office.
If using Mac presentations, which would have to be red on a PC computer, please note that you need to prepare it according to the instructions below :
Use a common font, such as Arial, Times New Roman, Verdana etc. (special fonts might be changed to a default font on a PowerPoint based PC).
Insert pictures as JPG files (and not TIF, PNG or PICT - these images will not be visible on a PowerPoint based PC).
Use a common movie format, such as AVI, MPG and WMV (MOV files from QuickTime will not be visible on a PowerPoint based PC).
Instructions for posters
Please note the following informations for the preparation of your poster :
The dimensions of the poster should not exceed 90 cm wide x 120 cm high.
It is recommended that posters be prepared on one sheet of cardboard paper.
Allocate the top of the poster for the title and authors as stated on the submitted abstract.
Text, illustrations, etc. should be bold enough to be read from a distance of two meters (six feet).
Tacks and technical equipment will be available for attaching posters.
Please refer to the Final Programme for the poster number assigned to you and use the board with the same number.
